Very happy African women

Why do I listen to Spanish radio stations? Well…because it’s fun and because this is the only way I can practice my Spanish. I’m still fluent after spending four months in the beautiful South American country of Argentina. Five minutes ago, one of my favorite radio shows on Canal Sur Radio, Seville, presented an interesting “good to know news” about bushmen in the Kalahari Desert and sexuality. Specifically, they were talking about a tribe called Khoi. Men are short, light-boned and have yellowish skin. They also have some facial features that make them look almost Asian. Women always initiate their sexual life with other girls. They explore their sexuality together so the girls can then be prepared for their husbands. Also, after marriage, women are allowed to have as many girlfriends as they want, but only one husband. But there’s something even more shocking. Men are always in a state of semi-erection. According to a study quoted by the talk show host (I wrote this down and translated to English) “The men have cartilages in their penises which make them semi-erect all the time.” Therefore we can safely say that women are extremely satisfied on both ends: extremely active husbands and full liberty with other women. Jackpot!!! So no need to worry about those men at any given time. They certainly have a wonderful life.

If someone else knows something else about this tribe he/she is more than welcome to share his/her opinions / experience with the people visiting this website.

By the way, what pisses me off with Spanish radios is that many radio talk shows hosts in Spain, when talking about Sub-Saharan Africa, still call it “Africa Negra” (the Black Africa). I guess these guys will never give up the old habits…

PS: To all the men reading this post: you tell me you would not want to be a member of the Khoi tribe for at least one month and I’ll definitely think you’re crazy.

Update:

I found this short paragraph on the Khoi tribe on Safaris-Botswana.com:

” The Khoi are of the same racial and linguistic group as the San, the Khoi (commonly known as Hottentos) are distinguished from their cousins by a generally more settled lifestyle, by their greater preoccupation with ownership of cattle - and by the precepts and social structures these elements have helped create. Their cattle-owning ancestors were probably living in northern Botswana just over two millenia ago. Later Khoi groups - the Nama - filtered in from Namibia in the west, most notably during the German’s colonial wars of the early 1900s, many of them to settle around Bokspits in the extreme south-west, and in Matsheng in the northern Kgalagadi district.”

The best article I read today. It’s so funny that it will take me days to stop thinking about this tribe. Nicely written too.
