I know it’s been a while since I last wrote on this website. I’m bakcnow. I had some problems with my old server and unfortunately most articles were lost. Now I have my own server where I will host both my websites, “A Romanian in Africa” and “African Politics Portal.” I will start writing more. There are so many things I want to share with you regarding my last 4 months in Southern Africa. There are also more things to be told regarding my previous stay in East Africa. I will be back to Tanzania in June when I will start my work with a local organization. Until then I plan on writing about all the important events, experiences, encounters that I had in the last year and that are Africa-related.

So stay tuned.

This Vanguard reportage deserves to be seen.

I don’t normally post things that are not Africa-related but this young man from Taiwan is simply amazing. Lin Yu Chun participated in a Taiwanese version of the American Idol called Super Star Avenue, singing the song I will always love you by Whitney Houston. I’ll keep it short: his version of the song is clearly better than what Mrs. Houston is capable of singing right now. Some dubbed him the “Susan Boyle of Taiwan” and there might just be something of this young man. Check it out yourselves. I’m sure you’ll be surprised as well.
